Am Pàipear is delighted to announce the appointment of a new journalist for the publication.
Adam Gordon – originally from Dundee but currently living in Skye – will take up his post with the paper at the beginning of May.
A recent graduate in Journalism from Napier University, Adam has previously had work published in The Scotsman, West Highland Free Press and Skye Magazine.
Iain Stephen Morrison, Editor of Am Pàipear, commented: “I am very happy to welcome Adam to our award-winning community newspaper.
“He brings with him a solid background in news and feature writing, as well as excellent knowledge of broadcasting, websites and digital media.
“My task is always to grow Am Pàipear and try and deliver an ever-improving product for our loyal readership.
“I am convinced that in Adam we have found somebody who will contribute massively to that effort.”
Adam said: “I am delighted, excited and honoured to be chosen to be part of what is a highly respected local institution.
“I am looking forward to meeting people across the islands through working for Am Pàipear, and I hope to reflect the opinions of the local people and report on the issues most important to them.
“My aim is to contribute to the high standards that have been set and the excellent reputation that Am Pàipear has cultivated over the last 40 years.”
