On Thursday 30th March from 7pm-9pm there will be an open event, where local speakers will give a snapshot of the current situation and information will be available on actions that can be taken to avoid tick bites and what to do if you are bitten.
Then on Friday 31st March from 10.30am-2.15pm there will be an event requiring participants to register to attend – anyone with an interest is welcome. This event will explore the epidemiology of Lyme Disease and the impact on land use and management. Evidence of the presence of ticks will be presented.
