I first visited the Outer Hebrides some 15 years ago and was immediately struck by the unique landscape and the quality of the light, which owes much to reflection from white sand and water. The arrival of our 2 children proved to be the catalyst for finally making the decision to make our home in the Southern Isles, where I continue to enjoy the photographic opportunities the islands afford.
