Response to Stòras CEO letter in press
Dear Sir,
Our CEO, Mr Huw Francis, has written to the regional papers, – rather than to the one with the dependably local voice, Am Pàipear – and to all the the Stòras Uibhist voters who have supplied him with their e-mail addresses.
His letter sets out the Stòras case against one of its members.
Stòras seems to have an argument with the Crofters Commission itself. Why then take an individual crofter to the Land Court ?
Huw is sincere in his beliefs about working for the benefit of the whole community. He should perhaps look again at what is happening, to take a wider perspective and to listen to different voices.
