Arise seeks at-home workers in isles
Arise Virtual Solutions UK Limited, the world’s leading provider of virtual business services, today (23 April) announced that it is seeking 500 self-incorporated home workers as part of the company’s new international effort to boost call centre resources in the United Kingdom.
The expansion follows a move to boost the quality and localization of customer service to maximize sales during the anticipated increase in consumer spending.
‘The recession drove many companies to re-consider their customer service strategies and, as a result, green-light agents who work from home to deliver higher levels of customer service at lower cost,’ says Jeff Swanson, Director of Arise European Operations. ‘Now that the recession in the United Kingdom has officially ended, business traffic is forecasted to accelerate. Companies can leverage this if they make a good impression with new, repeat and lapsed customers,’ adds Mr. Swanson.
Arise is the world leader in the ‘homeshoring’ sector, which enables people to work from home and use their computer to plug seamlessly into clients’ customer service networks. The company expects to contract with at least 500 self-incorporated home workers by the end of August 2010.
Workers, as independent business owners or self employed professionals, establish their own Virtual Services Corporation (VSC), which is then contracted through Arise to deliver services to large companies.
Choosing their own hours, Arise Certified Professionals, commonly called at-home agents, provide customer service, technical support and sales services via phone, email and chat from their home offices. Earnings levels can reach £10 per hour, based on the level of expertise required and results of interactions with customers.
In addition to a home office set up, people interested in becoming at-home agents invest approximately £35 for a background check and screening tests. Interested individuals should visit www.arise.com/uk to learn more or attend one of Arise’s open days on 27th April at Caberfeidh Hotel, Stornoway or 28th April at Congreve House, Balivanich.
