Third Sector Hebrides recognised for
a decade of Investors in People accreditation
Third Sector Hebrides has been awarded a certificate to celebrate a decade of accreditation as an Investors in People organisation. Having this prestigious accreditation proves that an organisation cares about its employees and provides training and development opportunities.
Diana Beagent, who carried out a recent review of Third Sector Hebrides, which was successful, said that TSH continues to be an Investor in People quality organisation. Commenting on the review, Diana said: “This achievement must be congratulated as Third Sector Hebrides has not only continued to meet IIP standards but has done so for the last decade. This is despite huge change to accommodate a host of new ventures, as well as form a stronger positive merger with its partner body in Uist.” Diana also mentioned the professionalism of the organisation and its managers in both Uist and Lewis, which she said was typified by the way TSH has been working with the IIP framework to make it a successful organisation.
Alasdair Nicholson, Chief Executive of TSH, said “Having this accreditation is extremely important to Third Sector Hebrides, our employees, volunteers and board members. It recognises the team efforts of all who continue to make this a positive and forward-thinking place to be, whether this is from our Uist or Lewis centres of operation. The important thing is we all work together, whether that is across TSH or in any of our associated social enterprises which are part of the wider Third Sector Hebrides partnership.”
